During our stay on Christmas, we enjoyed a comfortable double room with a sea view, complete with a large TV. The cleanliness was commendable, though the bathroom was notably small. While the owner was welcoming and eager to assist, the lack of a lift was inconvenient, especially carrying luggage to the first floor. As the only guests, the atmosphere felt a bit empty, but it served as a convenient base for visiting family.

Decent breakfast selection covering the basics. Free parking located just behind the building makes visiting a breeze, and you can stow your ride without a fight for spaces.
The creaking floorboards throughout can make every trip to the bathroom feel like a stealth mission. The so-called sea view from room 16 requires climbing six flights of stairs and barely offers more than a glimpse through a tiny window. the cramped attic space feels anything but relaxing. Showering feels like a game of patience—with eager water temperature adjustments needed as the small head struggles to match the pressure. Those ancient bathroom fittings could probably use an upgrade just like the stained carpets. Not to mention a couple of flat pillows won't be boosting anyone's sleep quality.

Had an amazing trip with friends! The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the Tower and Winter Gardens. We enjoyed playing billiards at the hotel after a long day exploring. Breakfast was delightful, fueling us for our adventures.
One downside was the shower temperature fluctuating unpredictably, which was a bit alarming when we were trying to get ready in the morning.

I stayed at the Rockcliffe for three nights in a Double Room Sea View. The location was great, just a short walk from the main attractions. The bed felt comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, and I appreciated the free WiFi, even though it didn’t reach the room. The breakfast every morning was a highlight. they offered a decent selection that fueled us for our adventures. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the room itself definitely needed some upgrades. The shower temperature fluctuated a lot, which made mornings a bit frustrating. The decor felt dated, and some areas appeared in need of a deep clean. There were also minor maintenance issues, like the lock on our door that wobbled. Despite these drawbacks, I still enjoyed my stay overall.
